Maria Escarano

I worked for many years as a caregiver who had many friends at Whitcomb Terrace. After she passed away, I joined Whitcomb Terrace, with some of my previous caregivers who also work here. In my job I get to do so many things and really get to know each person—it feels like family to work here. We all have so much fun with one another, and because Whitcomb Terrace is so small, we know what each resident prefers and what their rhythm of life is and can look out for the small changes and adjust what we do for them so they can feel safe and also independent.
