Bio

Dr. Patrick Lally joined Aspen Valley Health in 2020 bringing nearly four decades of experience practicing Ophthalmology. Dr. Lally has dedicated much of his career to the diagnosis and treatment of cataract, glaucoma, dry eye and retinal diseases. He also has extensive experience in the use of lasers for the treatment of glaucoma. He completed his undergraduate studies with a Pre-Med degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1975, and then studied medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his residency at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University/Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia and went into practice in southwestern Pennsylvania. While in Pennsylvania, Dr. Lally worked at community hospitals, out-patient surgical centers and at the University of Pittsburgh. He also provided eye care services for prisoners in jails and prisons, and gave lectures on eye care for the larger community at the Lions Club and other venues. Dr. Lally is certified by and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He and his wife have had a home in the Aspen area for almost 30 years, and have long enjoyed the people who live here, as well as the skiing and hiking.
