Aspen Valley Health has formally partnered with the renowned Steadman Clinic to deliver a full complement of world-class orthopaedic care services for the Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley communities.
This groundbreaking collaboration features an expert team of fellowship-trained, sub-specialty care providers who practice the latest evidence-based medicine to keep patients active and enjoying life in our beautiful mountain home. Physicians are members of the Aspen community, as well as members of the clinical team in Vail who see patients in Aspen on a regular basis.
The Steadman Clinic specializes in sports medicine including knee, hip, shoulder, hand, wrist and elbow, neck and spine, foot and ankle injuries and joint replacement. The Steadman Clinic’s experience and research through the Steadman Philippon Research Institute have led to significant advances in the fields of orthopaedics and regenerative sports medicine.
The Steadman Clinic in Aspen treats patients from all walks of life, including recreational and professional athletes from all over the world.
Advancing Care Through the Steadman Philippon Research Institute (SPRI)
Research and education in collaboration with SPRI are central to the partnership, including training of future orthopaedic surgeons and development of technologies to advance musculoskeletal health.
With a focus on applied clinical translation, SPRI is dedicated to discovering new therapies and treatments that can be brought to patients in a clinical setting. Residents of the Roaring Fork Valley will be able to participate in ongoing research.
